Description

A deeply flavorful and tender mutton roast, slow-cooked with aromatic spices and herbs until it melts off the bone. Perfect for a hearty Sunday dinner or special occasion.

Ingredients

Method

Mutton Marination

  1. For the Mutton marination (30 mins)

    Add garam masala, Chilly powder, coriander powder & yellow powder to the cleaned Mutton & keep it for half an hour

     

After Marination

  1. Cook the marinated mutton in a cooker (approx 2-3 whistles and open immediately)

  1. In oil (ghee if you like) - sauté onion, salt, ginger garlic paste, green chilly, 1/2 tsp pepper.

  1. Add tomato pieces & sauté well

  1. Add curry leaves

  1. Add the cooked mutton & sauté well

  1. Sprinkle the rest of the pepper & 1/4 tsp of the anu seed powder

  1. Sauté well until the masala thickens & is well coated over the mutton

  1. Add chopped coriander leaves

  1. Sauté & it's ready to serve

Note

Perfect with some hot Kerala Porottas!
